NAFA 2017 is the short title for three main events being held in Aarhus (Cultural Capital of Europe 2017), 22-26 August 2017:

 

  • The 37th NAFA (Nordic Anthropological Film Association) International Ethnographic Film Festival
  • The symposium ‘The Visual Anthropology of Food’
  • Specialised film screenings held in conjunction with the symposium

 

The overall event is organised under the auspices of the Nordic Anthropological Film Association by the Ethnographic Department, Moesgaard Museum, and Department of Anthropology, School of Culture and Society, Aarhus University, Aarhus University, in cooperation with FOCUS (Food Culture Studies, Department of Media Studies, School of Culture and Communication, Aarhus University), Doc Lounge Aarhus/Food Film Festival, and Intervention Press.
